Careers at Golden Horseshoe Equestrian

Work where horse people work.

Join a family-owned equestrian retailer in Eureka, MO. Serve riders, teach the community, work the shows, and learn how a small business really runs.

Every Rider. Every Horse. Every Journey.

A St. Louis tradition since 1982, with a modern team behind it.

Golden Horseshoe has served multiple generations of riders through product sales, outreach and rider education. Since 2023, the Haynes and Robinson families have carried that legacy forward. We're modernizing how the store runs while keeping what has always mattered: knowing horses, knowing our customers, and showing up for the equestrian community.

More than a cashier job.

Your day can run from fitting a saddle to teaching a clinic to loading a trailer for a show. Here's where our team spends its time.

  • In The Store

Customer experience is our top priority and nothing you do at GHE will be more important than making that experience amazing!

Help riders of every discipline, English and Western, find the right fit, from their first helmet to their next saddle.

  • At Shows & Competitions

Run our pop-up shops at shows and competitions, large and small, where riders need us most.

This work will take you to Western or English events. You may be at a smaller private area facility or helping large groups at the National Equestrian Center.

  • In The Community

Equestrian education is the center of our operations whether working in the store or one of the many classes and clinics we hold every year.

Build real connections with barns, trainers and riders across the region. Support clinics, events and the riders we sponsor.

Leave knowing more than when you started.

Paid education and certifications

We cover approved education and certifications, and we pay you for your training time. Saddle fitting, product knowledge, equine care: the more you know, the more you can help.

Learn small business from the inside

Work alongside multi-generational entrepreneurs and see how buying, merchandising, marketing and events actually come together.

Grow your network

Meet trainers, barn owners, clinicians and competitors from across the region. These connections last well beyond a shift.

Equestrian retail that doesn't stand still.

How we work:

  • We're always improving

We keep looking at what's working and changing what isn't, from how we greet customers to how we run a show booth. All of it is aimed at a better experience for every rider who walks in.

  • No two days alike

Customer service, education, and pop-ups at shows and competitions, large and small. If you like variety, you'll have it.

  •  Tools that handle the busywork

Our systems for social media, design, project management, AI and more take care of much of the repetitive work, so you can spend your time on people and horses.

What we offer.

Competitive pay, plus:

  •  20%  Employee Discount

On regularly priced retail items. That's real savings. Your horse will thank you.

  •  National Holidays Off

We close for national holidays. Need other time off? We prioritize family and equestrian events.

  •  Paid Learning

Approved education and certifications covered, and your training time is paid. Grow your knowledge in horses and business.

  •  Flexibility and Fun

Flexible scheduling, plus team events like trail rides and the Boots & Ballgowns Gala. We're horse people just like you!
