We are excited and pleased to announce the awardees of the 2024-2025 Golden Horseshoe Scholarship in Memory of Lynn Kraut!
This year through the very generous donations of many customers and a special donation by Summit Archery Center in Labadie, MO, we are able to award not one, but THREE scholarships of $750 for the 2024-2025 academic year. We have been humbled by customer support for the scholarship and hope to continue to grow this effort to help further the education of those Missouri and Illinois residents pursuing equine studies.
This year, we received several more applications than last year. We relied on our amazing staff to choose the three most qualified and deserving of the scholarships. After tallying their votes, here are our awardees, in no particular order:
Alyson Cook, Madeline Brinkmann and Grace Miltenberger
All three awardees are pursuing Veterinary careers. As you likely know, the number of practitioners in this field is dwindling. It is paramount that new, energetic people like these ladies are supported in their pursuit so that they are there to help current and future generations of horses and other animals.
