Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 19 — this is it, our biggest event of the year. It's a full day at Golden Horseshoe Equestrian, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and it's also the finale of our Safety Series, which means it caps off everything we started this summer with Trailer Safety and Barn Safety.
Whether you're coming for the sales, the vendors, the raffles, or the education, there's a reason to swing by all day long.
This is Customer Appreciation Day, so we're treating it that way — expect sales and discounts throughout the store, along with giveaways and raffles running all day. Details on specific deals and prizes are still coming together, so keep an eye on our page as the date gets closer.
We're bringing in outside expertise for the day, too. Hud Roberts with HR Saddles will be here with their 42-foot trailer, so you can actually get hands-on with saddles rather than just looking at photos online.
Elizabeth, our Shires rep, will also be on site to talk through their product line and answer questions.
More vendors are still being confirmed, so we'll announce additional names as they're locked in.
At 3 PM, we're holding the third and final session of our Safety Series: the Rider Safety Education Event. This one shifts the focus from the horse and the hauling gear to the rider — protective equipment, helmet safety, visibility, body awareness, and how to read the riding environment around you. It's a fitting way to close out a series that's covered trailer safety, barn safety, and now rider safety, all in one summer.
If you caught either of the first two sessions, this is the one that ties it together. If you're just now hearing about the series, this is a solid place to start, too — every session in this series has stood on its own.
You don't have to choose between shopping, meeting vendors, and the education session — the whole day is designed so you can do all three. Come early for the deals, spend some time with Hud and Elizabeth, and stick around for 3 PM if rider safety is where your interest is.
