About The Instructor

Stephanie Brown-Beamer is a LANTRA-certified bit and bridle fitter and the founder of Horse By Horse LLC. Trained through an internationally recognized, research-based certification program, Stephanie works with riders across disciplines to evaluate equipment through the lens of anatomy, biomechanics, and communication.

Her approach emphasizes careful observation, thoughtful assessment, and education for the rider. Rather than relying on trends or quick fixes, Stephanie helps horse owners better understand how anatomy, movement, balance, and rider influence shape each horse’s response to a bit and bridle.

Throughout this clinic, Stephanie will conduct each fitting personally while explaining her thought process in real time, giving both fitting participants and auditors the opportunity to better understand not only what decisions are made, but why.

Location & Facility

Hosted at the National Equestrian Center

The clinic will take place at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis — a professional facility designed for high-level equestrian events.

With a dedicated arena, warm-up space, and on-site stabling, the environment supports a structured and efficient experience for both riders and auditors.

This program is made possible in partnership with St. Charles County Parks, supporting accessible equestrian education in the region.

About the GHE Learning Center

The GHE Learning Center was created to make practical, meaningful equestrian education more accessible to riders and horse owners.

Through clinics, scholarships, and community programming, the Learning Center focuses on helping riders better understand their horses—how they move, how they respond, and how thoughtful decisions improve both performance and welfare.

The Annual Horsemanship Forum serves as the Learning Center’s flagship event, bringing respected educators and engaged riders together for in-depth, education-first programming.

This clinic marks the launch of that effort.

When people learn better, horses live better.
