Circle Y's Black Star breast collar is made with premium leather for a soft-to-the-touch broken-in feel on the first ride. Its unique chest plate design is flattering to the horse's chest while sitting off the shoulder allowing the best freedom of movement. Great attention to detail was taken with the creation of this breast collar. From the delicately painted accents to the hand-carved overlays it is beautiful from top to bottom. The faux black gator offers a perfect backdrop to the stunning hand-tooled star flowers. This piece is carefully stitched in a vibrant turquoise blue thread that complements each flower's detailed painting. To complete this stunning look there is also a matching browband headstall with flared brow to show off the details in this tack.
The Black Star breast collar was designed to fit the average-sized horse with a 5-hole adjustment on both tugs as well as an adjustment on the choke. All of the hardware is made of stainless steel to make sure this piece will hold up to the extreme demands of an athlete. The Black Star is made with premium cowhide leather dyed in black and regular oil to coordinate with a wide variety of saddle colors.

Care Instructions:
Check for damage before each use to ensure a safe ride. Store tack indoors or in a tack room to prevent fading and damage. Use leather cleaner & conditioner to prolong life and prevent mold and mildew. Test in a small area first, cleaners and conditioners can alter the leather color.
Measurements:
To find your horse's working length needed for a breast collar you must first saddle your horse. Measure from the center of your horse's chest back to the breast collar dee's of your saddle. This will give you your working length. The Black Star breast collar will be suitable for a working length range between 27" at it's last hole and 25" on it's shortest hole.
