Looking for a fun spring outing that’s perfect for families, horse lovers, and anyone who supports animal rescue? Join us for Spring Fling at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm! This is Longmeadow’s only fundraising event of the year, and it’s packed with exciting activities and heartwarming stories—all in support of animals who deserve a second chance.

Whether you’re a lifelong equestrian or new to the world of horses, this event is a wonderful way to enjoy the day, meet fellow animal lovers, and learn more about the life-saving work happening every day at Longmeadow.

What You’ll Experience:

Spring Fling is more than just a day on the farm—it’s a chance to connect with rescued animals, learn about the rehabilitation process, and enjoy all the beauty Longmeadow Rescue Ranch has to offer. 

Activities include:

Horseback Rides and Wagon Rides
Take in the rolling hills and spring scenery with a wagon ride through 165 acres of wooded trails, or hop on a horse for a guided ride—perfect for all ages!

Live Music and Riding Demonstrations
Enjoy live music throughout the day, and watch as riders showcase the skills of both adoptable horses and Longmeadow alumni.

Meet the Horses
Hear the inspiring stories of horses who have been rescued from neglect and abuse and are now thriving thanks to the Second Chances Fund. You'll have the opportunity to meet adoptable horses and reconnect with successful adoptions from years past.

Silent Auction and Small Booth Shopping
We’ll have a small booth on-site with a curated selection of items perfect for horse lovers and new horse owners. Whether you're looking for resources, accessories, or just want to support the mission, we’d love for you to stop by and say hello.

Meet the Barn Buddies
No visit to Longmeadow is complete without spending time with the world-famous Barn Buddies—our beloved farm animal ambassadors!

Tour the Facilities
Get an insider look at Longmeadow’s state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility and learn how the Ranch helps animals heal physically and emotionally before finding their forever homes.
