Brushing boots are sometimes used when exercising and competing.
Brushing Boots help to protect ponies inside legs from striking with the opposite leg. They can be used on either the front (fore) or back (hind) legs. The lower part of ponies legs have a bone at the front of the leg and tendons at the back of the leg. Brushing boots help to protect the bone on the inside of the leg and the fetlock joint.
