Ready, Set, Ride: Planning the 2026 Riding Season
Feb 21st, 4-6pm
National Equestrian Center (NEC)
A successful riding season starts long before the first ride of the year. Whether your goals involve the show ring, the trail, or simply becoming a more capable and confident rider, thoughtful planning is what turns good intentions into meaningful progress.
Ready, Set, Ride: Planning the 2026 Riding Season is an in-store education event designed to help equestrians step back, assess where they are today, and create a clear path forward—for both horse and rider.
This session will focus on how to:
- Reflect on past seasons to identify what’s working and what needs to change
- Set realistic, achievable goals that respect the horse’s ability and long-term wellbeing
- Break big ambitions into practical steps that support consistency
- Plan beyond time in the saddle, including rider fitness, education, and preventative care
- Build in regular review points so plans can evolve as the season unfolds
Using a proven equine record book as a guiding tool, attendees will learn how written plans and simple tracking can support better decision-making, clearer priorities, and more sustainable progress throughout the year.
This event is appropriate for riders and horse owners at every level. No matter where you are in your equestrian journey, the goal is the same: make the most of your time with your horse in 2026 through intentional planning and responsible goal setting.
Join us for Ready, Set, Ride: Planning the 2026 Riding Season and start the year with clarity, structure, and purpose.
